Terms and disclaimer
Aegis explains risk. It does not tell you what to do with your money.
Disclaimer
- A report without red flags is not a guarantee that a protocol is safe, audited or legitimate.
- Aegis can miss risks, mis-classify contracts and lag behind on-chain events. AI text only retells the automated checks and can be wrong.
- Nothing on this site is financial, legal or investment advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.
- Reports and address profiles are public. Do not paste secrets, seed phrases or private keys anywhere on Aegis.
Labels and disputes
Scam and suspicious labels come from public post-mortems, on-chain evidence or a human review. A wrong label that paints a legitimate project as a scam hurts people — we take disputes seriously.
To dispute a label, email labels@aegis.security with:
- the chain and address,
- why the label is wrong,
- public evidence (explorer links, audits, post-mortems).
A person reviews every dispute. If we were wrong, the label is removed or corrected; the next scan of affected sites picks up the change. Use Report a mistake on a report for wrong red flags that are not a label.
Acceptable use
- Do not abuse the scanner (floods, automation that ignores rate limits, scanning private or illegal content).
- Do not try to access other users' data or our infrastructure.
- We may refuse, throttle or remove content that breaks these rules.
